Who says fire and water don’t mix ? We loved doing a re-vamp on this clients old watering hole and overgrown back yard. For this specific project, we removed all debris and repurposed the river rock and bricks to build the foundation of the fire pit from the old fountain.
For the fire pit, we reused some larger stones, brought in granite, slate, more river rock, flagstones, mulch, ground cover, and decorative rocks to assemble a new fire area.
For the new water feature, the crew completely removed the old pond, dug and lined the new basin and slope, and then placed large stones and river rock with some interesting water plants to create an inviting and ascetically pleasing trickling waterfall.
This turned out to be one of our favorite water features to be built, as it aligned with our mission to recycle existing materials and then utilize them for this amazing backyard. Now our clients can relax around a warm fire with the soothing sounds of a babbling stream as the soundtrack. Check out the amazing video below…
